The Confederate Flag, Peanut Butter & Jelly, The Redskins; It’s All Racist
by Brandon Neilan
Columbia, S.C.— For those in a battled argument of heated race tensions amidst blurred tout history, comes the take down of a monument — a historical flag that many have no idea as to why the flag is still being flown in the first place, citing it’s racism and racism only.
In a testament of supposed willpower from Governor Nikki Haley, (R), the Confederate flag was removed from the grounds of the State Capitol on July 10, 2015 amid last month’s shooting spree in Charleston that claimed nine black churchgoers.
In effect it seems that not only are we just talking about a monumental war that changed the way policies were inducted, the abolishing of slavery, but the way the Democrats discount the historical fact that the Confederacy was indeed ran by staunch Democrat Jefferson Davis, whom ultimately became the President of the Confederate States.
While I don't wholly agree with the flag and its statements, this wasn't a totally north vs. south thing. There were states on the periphery of borders in the north who in fact stayed with the Union that valued black slavery, including Delaware, Kentucky, Maryland, and Missouri — furthermore, if you actually look at the Mason-Dixon line it does not extend past the Pennsylvania line, as Delaware (to the east of Pennsylvania) still had slaves.
Or for that matter New Jersey, where slavery was formally abolished in 1846, but slaves remained ‘apprenticed’ and were not technically released until the Thirteenth Amendment was indoctrinated and signed into the United States Constitution in 1865.
And in fact by 1860 the cotton trade held over $191,000,000 in exports worth nearly 57% of all American exports, so thus it was about the lackluster of economy if the secession and abolishing of slavery happened, not to mention the territorial loss that the Union did not want.
Abraham Lincoln once cited that the battle’s weren't necessarily to abolish slavery, but to unify the Union and the country, and that was the Union’s main goal.
Or so it seems. It’s not a conceived notion of the tactics of the left, parading their illegalities for every semblance of American conservatism on behalf of Obama and the maybe dissidents.
The matters at hand were far more than just abolishing slavery, the Confederate flag is a testament to over 600,000 men and boys that died fighting for what at that point they believed in, a true test, and a true monument of ethical and political innuendo and upholding the constitution and southern nationalism.
And for the ones saying it that wasn't the actual Confederate battle flag. It was.
The Confederate flag had four revisions.
The main (battle) version that was flown through and through battles by the three branches of the Confederate Armed Forces: Army, Navy, and Marine Corps (below):

The final and fourth version, the Confederate flag, used for all intensive political purposes if anything, (below):

Everything is Racist:
Everything from the Confederate flag, to PB&J sandwiches being called white privilege food by a Portland, Oregon school member is very true.
Yes, Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches were said to be white privileged and racist back in 2012 by then Principal Verenice Gutierrez of the Harvey K-8 School based in Portland, Oregon, and I quote:
“What about Somali or Hispanic students, who might not eat sandwiches?” Gutierrez said, according to the Tribune. “Another way would be to say: ‘Americans eat peanut butter and jelly, do you have anything like that?’ Let them tell you. Maybe they eat torta. Or pita.”
Maybe I want some lavish expensive crab cakes on my 6th grade menu, or what if I came from a South American fishing town and wanted Chilean Sea Bass?
But there’s no tipping point. No, we must go further to discover the racism behind the American pro-sports team, the Redskins.
And they are so not racist.
Harry Reid, not even Native American by any means, with this shoddy too shorty hanging behind glasses game, because something happened to his eye castigated the NFL back in May on the premise of them having a team called The Redskins and subsequently saying it was racist, here’s Senator Reed’s comment:
“I find it stunning that the National Football League is more concerned about how much air is in a football than with a racist franchise name that denigrates Native Americans across the country,” he said. “I wish the commissioner would act as swiftly and decisively in changing the name of the D.C. team as he did about not enough air in a football.”
Bruce Allen, the team president wrote back:
“Our use of ‘Redskins’ as the name of our football team for more than 81 years has always been respectful of and shown reverence toward the proud legacy and traditions of Native Americans.”
Simply, I’m tired of the over dried bagged bigots that are saying everything is racist.
